Despite the rain the plants have been loving this weather, here’s some photos from my morning walk thru!

Leucadendron tango is a beautiful plant that loves living here in the Bay Area and eats up the sun!

Here’s another Bay Area native from the San Francisco diamond heights district that offers some beautiful chartreuse and green foliage along with some pale blue flowers later in the year!

Also many people were asking and out vendor finally was able to dig through the snow to get to thier barn they had our potatoes!

From all of us at golden nursery we wanted wish everyone a happy holidays!  

For those looking for last minute stocking stuffers we will be open today from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. 

Additionally, we will be closed on Christmas and the day after Christmas. From the 27th - the 29th we will be open from 9:30 - 2:00. The 30th open from 10:00 - 2:00, and closed on the 31st thru the 1st, and reopening on the 2nd.

P.S. Pea came by the nursery to make sure we were open... happy holidays everyone!

Happy Mother’s Day!!!

Be sure to be thankful to those mama’s in your life, not just today, but everyday! Also as a heads up, we will be closing early today. We will be open from 10 am to 2 pm today for those wanting to walkabout the garden center!

These hydrangeas are able to bloom constantly from spring through fall here, and out on the coast they can tolerate pretty much full sun, but if you are further inland a half day of sun will be perfect!

Some new arrivals!

We got some imported German pottery for our indoor plants in a number of contemporary styles and colors that can fit just about any home! We always recommend using cork at liners but all of our indoor pottery is glazed inside and out, allowing for a waterproof seal protecting the surfaces in your home.

Today’s walkthrough, I noticed a lot of our shade plants are looking fantastic!

This evergreen shade loving shrub makes some striking red foliage on its new growth and also makes some stunning white flowers that opens up like a string of pearls....

The Hostas are waking up from their winter slumber and in a week they pushed up out of the dirt and love being in a space with full shade to morning sun exposure. Don’t forget to put some organic slug bait on them!!!

Also known as the Shrimp plant, gets name because it’s peculiar blooms look likes prawns... but this plant does really well in morning sun or if your on the coast, I’ve seen it flourish in full sun on the coast.
