In a couple of months this plant will make a fruit that is used in Japanese cuisine, it's a childhood favorite of mine, the sour plum also known as Umeboshi.

This cool gadget called the plant amp, can hold your cell phone and because of the shape of the glass, it amplifies the music that is playing on your phone! No batteries required and looks awesome!!

Happy gardening everyone!

Bareroot plants have arrived!

First of all, we have reopened and things at the nursery are back to normal after yesterday's heavy storm!

Secondly, we also wanted to let everyone know our bareroot roses and fruit trees have arrived! For those who didn't know, bareroot plants are a inexpensive way for you to make additions to your garden!

Because they do not have much of a root system, they are extremely easy to transport and plant, and with a little instruction, that we are happy to provide, you have some fantastic blooms and/or fruit in your garden for years to come!!!

Happy gardening,

A Golden Nursery Poem

Just figured with how chilly it's been, the plants don't seem to mind the cold and have been showcasing quite a bit of color!

I made a little poem, to showcase what's new at the nursery! (Apologies in advance to any poet's out there...)

Now I'm sure plenty of you would rather be all nestled up in a warm bed....

Winter has come!

It's officially the first day of winter! (News to me, since it's been so cold for the last couple of weeks...)

Additionally, we do have a cold front coming this Friday, with temperatures expected to be in the high 30's to low 40's, please make sure bundle up your plants up to protect them from the cold.

For those unfamiliar with winterizing their yards, come on by and we can teach you all about it!
