Well 2 days into what is offically Spring, the weather has started to clear up, plants continue to set flowers and the bees have started to get back to work after their winter break!
Busy little bee hard at work on a flowering cherry!
This New Zealand native makes beautiful arching, flower clusters that cascade during the spring and despite its delicate looking fern shaped leaves, this plant will tolerate being in full sun on the coast, but if you are further inland, it will prefer half day sun.
One of my favorite plants that signals the arrival of spring, this anemones are a fantastic way to add a burst of color to your shady parts of the garden!!!
